There was quite a bit of hype leading up to the solar eclipse that was to be the first of its kind in this part of the world in 500 years. I even bought an eclipse T-shirt from eno! But unfortunately, Shanghai got the worst of the weather on Wednesday, July 22nd and we didn’t see much of anything. Thanks though to my buddy Kemi for inviting me to the 2010 World Expo site of the Austrian pavilion. Nothing like eating massive sausages and sipping on Chinese beers at 9:30AM on a weekday. Check out these videos and photos that captured the moment…
During…
After…
- Notice the crowd
- Slinging solar eclipse glasses at the mall
- Slinging solar eclipse glasses at Raffles in People’s Square
- Austrian people talking about Austrian things
- Kemi & I at the 2010 World Expo Austrian pavilion site
- Kemi’s Austrian friend who was wearing an awesome T-shirt
- Hanging with my Austrian peeps
- Eno Eclipse T-shirt
- During the eclipse
- During the eclipse
- After the eclipse and still raining
- Kemi representing the Austrian flag.
- Kickin it with the Austrian flag
- Kemi!
- Jumbo sausages
- 2010 World Expo water plate
- China pavilion looks like it’s almost complete
- Haibao (aka the 2010 World Expo mascot) really pisses a lot of people off, but I still think he’s cool.

Hey there Lundmark, I am not a part of the Twitter community. If I come to my senses, I’ll let you know where you can find me.
